| An ice scene can be produced in many ways. We use a combinations of products to get the desired effect while also providing safe, comfortable working areas. From icicles to ice palaces, frozen lakes to freezing caves or even by mixing artificial materials with real ice. |
Clear ice
| To create the illusion of frozen streams or blocks of ice that have been cut we use clear acrylic. This is see-through so objects can be embedded inside it. We can mould ice sculptures that won’t melt and an ice bar that stays frozen. |
Opaque/grey white ice
| Salt water or commercially created ice on rinks isn’t clear when it freezes, so we have an alternative opaque acrylic to create those effects. We can also use special wax products to produce white ice. |
Frozen ponds
| To create the illusion of frozen ponds we can use pre formed sheets of acrylic or pour melted wax on to the water. When the wax solidifies it forms a totally believable ice covering that can be broken through for dramatic effect. |
