Snow for indoor use has to comply with very strict health and safety regulations as well as meeting stringent fire standards. To meet with these requirements we have adapted a number of our outdoor snows for indoor use and developed special machinery to allow snow to fall safely inside studios and covered arenas.
Dry foam snow |
| Dry foam snow is a very versatile falling snow that adapts well for use indoors. It produces 3 dimensional flakes that can be easily controlled. Large and small machines are available to produce a very realistic falling snow effect that will melt away on contact. |
Plastic snow |
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban | Plastic snow is available in a variety of flake sizes with very low dust content and fire retardant properties. Two-dimensional flakes produce a gentle and floating snowfall, three-dimensional flakes create a heavier snowfall and can be used for blizzards. It is not biodegradable and therefore better suited to interior effects. |
