Snow effects for photo shoots

Snow Business

Winter locations without the flight

A photography shoot on a snowy mountain may sound idyllic, but the realities are far, far colder – plus there’s the condensation to contend with. Our snow is as realistic as the real thing, but it’s far easier to manage on-set or in the studio. It can even be used for close-up product shots, making it ideal for print campaigns and brochures.

Allow us to set the scene

The sooner we can collaborate, the more we can offer. Even if you don’t have a finalised shot list, we can hit the ground running with ideas – we even created a Yeti for The White Stuff last year
We understand the importance of sticking to a budget. No matter how large or small – we can advise you on how to get the best effect possible. What’s more, you’ll only pay for the snow you use.
No two shoots are the same, but we know what questions to ask. We’re here to bring your vision to life and can be as involved with the shoot as the budget allows.
Real snow doesn’t leave a trace, so neither does ours. Our outdoor effects are designed to biodegrade, while our indoor snow is gentle on merchandise.

Protecting what matters

Whether your shoot is in a studio, a location house or the great outdoors, our products have been designed to fall as gently as the real thing. We have even worked with the Eden Project and English Heritage, who trust us to meet their high environmental and conservation standards.

Case Study

Bon Marche

Bon Marche scheduled a summer shoot for their Autumn/Winter collection that was to move between two locations. The second location was to feature settled and falling snow outside an address in Salisbury - in August! Bon Marche had worked with Snow Business previously, so they were confident that realistic snow could be guaranteed.
